Own strategic and commercial leadership for given category and brand portfolio, with full responsibility of marketing and financials.
Develop long term business and marketing strategies for the category and brand portfolio to deliver agreed objectives and targets.
Identify and capitalize upon trends (such as consumer, customer or competitive), generate consumer Insights in given Category / Brands (through research, market visits and other) and translate into business opportunities.
Ensure a strong marketing mix for each of the brands in the portfolio, e.g. through the right pricing/promo strategy, product development, communication and distribution. Develop strong communication campaigns (e.g. TV and digital activation) and promotional campaigns together with trade marketing and sales to ensure strong visibility and impact at the POS.
Support the brand managers in leading and managing the Innovation and Renovation pipeline and process end to end: from consumer need/opportunity to concept, product development packaging/design, communication, pricing up to execution in store
Monitor closely business performance and deliver financial and commercial key targets such as market shares, sales and profit, incl. short term activations/promotions of sales together with key account management, field sales and trade marketing.
Energize and convince other departments such as sales to generate full-scale support for category / brand activities / ensure focus and strong in store execution. Closely collaborate internally with the factory, supply chain, finance, sales, trade marketing and external partners (communication, media, market research, design agencies etc.).
Manage, allocate and control the marketing expenses and other product fixed expenses.
Identify opportunities to increase business efficiencies (e.g. through portfolio optimisation/SKU management, margin management initiatives, prioritisation etc.).
Full marketing experience at least 5 years at similar position
Experience from marketing for FMCG products
Capable to manage stress and decision making
Motivated and be able to motivate the team of 5 people and lead them by example
Results oriented and strong problem solving and decision making skills
High level of fluency in English and Czech
